Toronto the Terrible: Establishing the permanent underclass and the targeted police carding of Blacks

There's something rotten,
Vital intelligence gathering or meddling?
Police across Canada under growing
pressure to stop carding people
In the state of Toronto!
The Holocaust began with
A Nazi head-honcho!
In Nazi Germany,
Jew's cards had a J;
In Toronto black skin
Is carded every day!

Did the Police Services Board
Make Chief Bill Blair,
Their saviour and Lord?
The press touted Blair, as "everywhere adored";
People pleasing, not justice, seemed to strike a chord!

Black people are targeted
By the colour of their skin
Indigenous are spit upon
And kicked in the shin

The practice of carding is racially unfair
Its logic more wobbly than three legs on a chair;
Public silence on carding did more to impair,
Race relations here.
As long as your welfare, is under good care
All you can do is shake your head and swear;
But for God's grace, lest I go there!

Our lives are meaningless,
The Skin I’m In:
I’ve been interrogated
by police more than 50 times
—all because I’m black
If we're scared to take a stand!
Ask Jordan B. Peterson
He'd see protests banned!

Fix yourself!
This U of Toronto prof spouts;
But it's lack of privilege Peterson flouts;
Intellectual dishonesty, he arrogantly touts
Surely he's never, lived on the outs

Ivory tower types, silver spoon in hand
If they experienced hardship,
They'd be the first to take a stand
As long as it's not them,
Who suffer in the land
They can be the Judas
Who made the Last Supper bland!

Canada hired it's first Black Police Chief
Though carding is the real issue causing our beef!
Admittedly, a Black chief is a start
But eating red meat, still makes us fart!
The practice of carding based on black skin
Didn't just now, begin to wear thin!

Toronto Police Services Board
Feared American style, social discord
Meeropol cited this photograph
 of the lynching of Thomas Shipp
and Abram Smith, August 7, 1930,
 as inspiring his poem.[5
How do you trick people into being happy?
Benefit the many with decisions that are crappy
Canada's racist profiling is a shameful crime
But you can't save your face and your ass at the same time!

So devise an all in one solution
To silence Black claims of persecution
Hire a top Black cop to appease your minorities
Make sure he's a cops cop to placate your majorities

Carding's unacceptable
It's down right detestable
Is this really Canada?
It's like the southern-land-of-the
Unfree, "Strange Fruit" in the tree

NOW IT'S COPS PLAYING RACE CARD
Home of the "squaw" and "Indian brave"
Unfit for the underground railroaded slave
Is this how "Good Canadians" wish to behave?
Liberal or Conservative
Whose justice do you crave?

Carding is political scapegoating
An excuse for police budget bloating
Along with the usual political platform gloating
To lull the naive into bad voting!

A feeble attempt to avoid voter wrath
Toronto policing took the easiest path
The carding of Blacks is unjust, simple math
One hundred thousand dollar salaries made fat cops all laugh!

Politicians too, go the fat banker route
Should your only balanced budget, not get you the boot?
Give the middle class scraps
Shut them up like a mute
Push minority rights down a long garbage chute

Come election time, less opposition or clout
Why Mark Saunders is a
'bittersweet' appointment for
 Toronto’s black community
City’s first black police chief
is a symbolic leap ahead,
 but whether his position
marks a sea change in
 policing is another question.
Means easily bought voters don't vote your ass out!
All levels of government pulled off a giant caper
They played on Canada's fears
By saying carding made us safer
They spread the truth thinner than a Catholic wafer
To give greedy politicians votes
And make fodder for newspaper!
